The spice industry has a dirty secret: most people have no idea whose hands grew their food.

At Living Roots, we're making that connection visible again.

Inspired by my Ma and Aaita (grandmother), who would spend hours in markets, building relationships with farmers they trusted, we're reviving an ancient practice: buying directly from the people who grow what we eat and drink.

Every jar and every tea tells you exactly who cultivated it, where it was grown, and when it was harvested. Real farmers. Real farms. Real stories.

This isn't just transparency. It's respect.
