Origin Story

  • Pinglin, a picturesque region in northern Taiwan, is nestled in the misty mountains just outside Taipei. Known for its pristine environment and abundant rainfall, the area provides an ideal microclimate for growing tea. The region’s high elevation, clean air, and mineral-rich soil contribute to the delicate flavors of its famous Pouchong oolong.

Our tea garden in Pinglin is a small family-owned farm with owners who have perfected the craft of cultivating this unique tea over multiple generations. The leaves are carefully hand-picked and processed with minimal oxidation to preserve the tea’s signature lightness and floral character. This farm practices traditional, sustainable farming methods, ensuring the preservation of the region's natural beauty while maintaining the highest quality of small batch tea production.
